We are seeking a motivated
Continuous Improvement Specialist who is excited to help improve processes, solve problems, and support operational excellence.
Position Summary:In this role, you will analyze workflows, partner with cross-functional teams, and help lead improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer outcomes. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical thinking, project management skills, and hands-on experience with continuous improvement methods such as Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
Pay Range: $81,700 - $105,000
Job Duties:- Analyze current processes, workflows, and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support and manage continuous improvement projects from planning through implementation and follow-up.
- Partner with team members across operations, quality, supply chain, and other functions to gather input and drive solutions.
- Create process maps, track metrics, and prepare reports that show progress, outcomes, and recommendations.
- Help facilitate root cause analysis, problem-solving sessions, and improvement events.
- Monitor results after implementation to ensure changes are effective and sustainable.
- Document standard work, process updates, and lessons learned.
- Communicate project status clearly to stakeholders and escalate risks or roadblocks as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Required: bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related field. Or 3-5 years of relevant experience in continuous improvement, operations, process improvement, manufacturing, or a related environment; internships, co-ops, or project-based experience may also be considered.
- At least two years of experience working in an environment where analytical thinking and problem-solving skills were the norm; must have the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- At least two years of experience coordinating and contributing to complex projects, including managing timelines, tasks, and stakeholders.
- Must have experience working with continuous improvement tools and methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, 5 Whys, root cause analysis, or Six Sigma.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard business tools.
- Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma environments, coursework, or certification required.
- Strong experience using data visualization, reporting, or process mapping tools; Excel/Pivot tables and Power BI, etc. required.
- Must have prior experience participating in improvement workshops, Kaizen events, or operational improvement projects.
- Must have worked in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple priorities, preferable for a CPG company.
