Full Job Description
Your Role

The primary purpose of the Customer Business Solutions is to drive the development and implementation of Business Solutions (web platform, EDI, reports and dashboards) for our customers. The position is responsible for acting as a strategic partner to clients, understanding their unique business needs, and delivering standard solutions or tailored freight forwarding solutions that optimize supply chain performance.

What You Will Be Doing

Pre-Sales:
  • Participate in Tenders, in relation with BD and Tender Management
  • Design and Present Business Solutions to customers
  • Promote standard solutions, our interfacing capabilities, and e-booking benefits
  • Capture customer needs and identify related requirements (reports, EDI...) as well as specifics
  • Educate Sales/BD with Business Solutions, part of the IT landscape


Solution Implementation:
  • Validate Solution Design with all CBS and Customer Service involved in traffic, managing the implementation project for the Business Solutions
  • Configure Business Solutions (or make sure all configurations are done): web access for customers, xmldos / station finder, etc.)
  • Coordinate and be part of the EDI project with customer and CEVA Business Analysts
  • Configure Standard Report or create customer reports when required: Tracker for flow monitoring, KPI, KFI, KXI
  • Provide tools (Missing report) to the teams in charge of DQ- Data Quality for Internal control (Missing Report)
  • Complete the SOP part related to Business Solutions and handover to Operations (BPS, Customer service) when specificities impacting the work instructions


Roll-Out:
  • EDI/Reports: Detect potential malfunctions and coordinate corrective
  • Fine-tune Customer reports and KPIs


Run:
  • Pro-actively promote our Business Solutions, especially during Client QBRs
  • Train our customers in Business Solutions


Continuous Improvement:
  • Take part of Continuous Improvement initiatives when Business Solutions can improve our productivity (EDI, Automatic Report, Streamline Process)
  • Solutions improvement: submit "request evolution" ticket and write user story supported by Regional / Global CBS
  • Innovative / Transformation projects: take part of project as long as Webplatform, customer reporting, customer EDI are impacted


What We Are Looking For:
  • Five (5) years of Global Transportation and Freight Forwarding experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding operations, customs and documentation processes
  • Strong experience with supply chain software and tools, including TMS (Transportation Management Systems)
  • Project management knowledge or certification
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, solutions designs and system mappings
  • Strong ability to understand customer supply chain operations, business processes, and system requirements, and translate them into effective solutions
  • Broad business acumen with an understanding of operational processes, technology solutions, process improvement, and organizational strategy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Strong leadership, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive collaboration across teams
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization
