Description OverviewThe Continuous Improvement Engineer provides technical support as it relates to incident/deviation investigationsfor all commercialized products at Perrigo facilities within Michigan.
Scope of the Role- Provide technical expertise and support to identify root causes of incidents and deviations
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence of incidents and deviations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate investigations and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of improvement in manufacturing processes
Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives - Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance continuousimprovement efforts.
Experience Required- Bachelor's degree preferably in engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
- Knowledge of principles, concepts and practices in pharmaceutical sciences and manufacturing processes.
- Well-developed interpersonal, organization and communication skills, ability to work effectively with staffmembers at all levels, strong technical writing skills, familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations.
- Familiarity with cGMP, FDA regulations, including experience with investigations and/or developing andrecommending process improvements.
- Computer literacy with a working knowledge Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), and SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects with minimal guidance and to meet project deadlines.
