Responsibilities

  • Own Daily Management Systems (DMS) execution and lead changeovers, centerlines, cleaning and lubrication processes, and anomaly handling
  • Lead Daily Area Value Stream connection point meetings
  • Conduct detailed analysis on performance data and integrate results into Factory Mars Operating System (FMOS)
  • Drive loss elimination in assigned area through Line Loss Analysis and create 90-day action plans
  • Lead Autonomous Maintenance (AM) process improvement teams to reduce downtime
  • Support and coach pillar activities within the Value Stream by providing analytics and developing standards
  • Assist Production Leaders with team performance management through coaching and skills development
  • Provide direction to Area Coordinators, including developing and evaluating performance

In today's fast-paced manufacturing environment, operational excellence is not just a goal-it's a necessity. At the heart of this pursuit stands the Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer, a pivotal leader with 24-hour, multi-shift accountability for driving process results within a dedicated Production Area. As a cornerstone of FMOS/RT implementation, the CI Engineer brings deep expertise in technology management, ensuring that primary manufacturing systems operate at peak performance.

Partnering closely with the Production Leader, the CI Engineer champions continuous improvement initiatives, setting robust work standards and providing invaluable coaching and feedback to associates. By supporting Daily Direction Setting, the CI Engineer systematically enhances the integrity of Line Event Data Systems and meticulously documents critical operational standards. These efforts are instrumental in eliminating unplanned downtime and minimizing planned interruptions, ultimately propelling the department toward greater efficiency, reliability, and success.

  • Experience within a TPM manufacturing environment
  • Ability to build Power BI Dashboard

  • Proficient in SAP


What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Owns all Daily Management Systems (DMS) execution and leads the Changeover (CO), Centerlines (CL), Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate (CIL), and Anomaly Handling (AH) DMS
  • Leads Daily Area Value Stream connection point meetings
  • Conducts detailed analysis on performance data and integrates into Factory Mars Operating System (FMOS)
  • Drives loss elimination for assigned area to include Line Loss Analysis and development of 90-day action plans to address losses and build associate capability
  • Leads Autonomous Maintenance (AM) process improvement teams focused on the reduction of downtime and loss elimination
  • Supports and coaches Pillar activities within the Value Stream by providing analytics and developing standards
  • Assists Production Leaders in managing the performance of their teams through coaching and skills development
  • Provide overall direction to Area Coordinators including development and performance evaluations
  • Champions MSE AM deployment and all Safety and Quality standards and objectives in their area.
