Content Strategist with 3-5 years of experience to join the team in our New York, Chicago or Washington, D.C. office. We're looking for a creative storyteller who can shape content development and craft compelling copy - someone who combines strong writing instincts with strategic thinking to ensure content aligns with brand strategy, business objectives, and audience needs across a range of clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both creative vision and analytical rigor to every project. You'll work closely with creative, research, and digital teams to bring content strategies to life. What You'll Do- Craft content strategies and compelling copy that align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences across a range of clients
- Develop, write, and edit content across multiple channels - including websites, blogs, and social media - ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and message
- Help manage content calendars, ensuring alignment to strategy across all relevant digital platforms
- Conduct content and competitor audits and develop audience personas to inform strategy and identify market trends
- Present ideas, strategies, and content recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - creative, research, data analysis, digital, and subject matter experts - to ensure cohesive content execution and storytelling
- Use performance metrics to continually refine content strategies, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, AI tools, and SEO/AEO guidelines to ensure content remains competitive, relevant, and discoverable

What You Will Need To Succeed Basic Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, or a related field
- Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
- Portfolio or work samples demonstrating strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills across multiple mediums
- Working knowledge of content marketing tactics, including SEO, AEO, email marketing, and web analytics
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Organizational and prioritization skills that lend themselves to project management
- Creative thinker who adapts quickly and collaborates well under deadline pressure
- Comfortable collaborating with team members of different skillsets and backgrounds, from concept development to delivery of the final product
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with content management systems a plus
- Familiarity with WordPress editing processes a plus
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas
- Ability to travel to FTI offices and client site(s) as needed

CompensationMinimum Pay: $77,000
Maximum Pay: $118,000
