Full Job Description
How You'll Contribute:

The Supervisor, Content Optimization & AI Search is Kaufman Rossin's subject matter expert on making firm content perform in search - both traditional search (SEO) and the AI answer engines our clients use to find advisors, including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and AI Overviews (GEO/AEO).

The role has two objectives. The first is to understand and improve how firm content performs across digital channels - web, social, paid, and email - and to recommend the changes that will make it more visible, more useful, and more likely to be cited. The second is to improve the tools the firm uses to create content, so first drafts are on brand and optimized for search and AI retrieval.

This is an optimization role, not an authoring role. The Supervisor does not generate content. Prior hands-on content creation experience is a plus, but the focus is diagnosis, recommendation, tooling, and enablement. The Supervisor works alongside channel subject matter experts in Marketing Operations such as web, digital advertising, and social who own the technical performance of their channels. This role brings the SEO and GEO lens to each of them.

Content Optimization for SEO & GEO
  • Analyze how firm content performs across digital channels and identify where it is not being found, understood, or cited; translate the findings into prioritized, specific recommendations.
  • Conduct keyword and prompt research against the questions clients and prospects ask and map it to the firm's marketing plans.
  • Recommend how content should be structured for machine retrieval including schema markup, semantic HTML, entity clarity, answer-first formatting, internal linking, and metadata and work with the relevant channel SMEs to get it implemented.
  • Review content before publication and provide optimization recommendations without adding a bottleneck to the content pipeline.
  • Run tests and experiments such as prompt benchmarking across models, page format changes, and structured data changes and document what worked and recommend what to scale.

Content Creation Tools & Brand Compliance
  • Serve as the firm's subject matter expert for its content creation tools and continuously improve them so first drafts are optimized for search and AI retrieval while staying on brand. This role does not set brand standards or create content; it ensures content creation tools are informed by standards.
  • Maintain brand voice profiles, style guides, custom instructions, prompt libraries, and templates within content creation tools and keep them current as brand and editorial standards evolve.
  • Sample and evaluate tool output on an ongoing basis; identify where drafts drift from voice, structure, or accuracy standards, and implement improvements.
  • Evaluate new content creation and optimization tools and make recommendations to the Senior Director, Marketing Operations.

Partnership with Channel SMEs
  • Partner with the web, digital advertising, and social media subject matter experts in Marketing Operations to bring the SEO and GEO perspective and work with them to apply it.
  • Advise on content structure and discoverability, reinforcing the firm's authority signals and third-party citations through social media and paid.
  • Partner with Service Line Marketers to build optimization into content briefs.

Enablement & Advisory
  • Advise Service Line Marketers on making their practice's expertise and their experts visible to AI systems.
  • Train marketing colleagues and content authors on optimization standards and on best practices for generating brand-compliant, well-structured output from the firm's content creation tools; build and maintain internal playbooks and checklists that support them.
  • Track changes in AI search and brief the marketing team and Service Line Marketers.

Measurement & Reporting
  • Build reporting that makes content visibility metrics actionable.
  • Report on AI search KPIs including AI citation share and share of answer, alongside organic traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversion.
  • Administer the AI visibility and SEO tool stack and support the Senior Director, Marketing Operations with platform evaluations.

Requirements

What Skills You'll Bring:

Technical & Functional Expertise
  • Recognized within the marketing team as the go-to expert on SEO, GEO, and AI content optimization. Maintains depth in a fast-moving discipline and applies it to the firm's specific circumstances.

Relationship Management
  • Builds trusted working relationships with channel SMEs and Service Line Marketers. Earns adoption of recommendations rather than mandating them.

Supporting competencies:

Project & Process Management
  • Maintains an optimization backlog and works through it with discipline. Applies Agile principles. Runs structured tests, documents results, and recommends what to scale.

Communication
  • Explains technical concepts in plain language to non-technical audiences. Supports recommendations with data. Presents findings clearly to marketing colleagues and practice groups.

Business Acumen
  • Connects optimization work to firm priorities. Identifies risks and opportunities in a fast-moving discipline and surfaces them with a recommendation.

How You'll Stand Out:
  • 3-5 years in SEO, content optimization, or digital marketing, with hands-on GEO/AEO work.
  • Working understanding of how large language models retrieve, rank, and cite web content, including the roles of structured data, entity recognition, and authority signals.
  • Experience with prompt-based benchmarking, AI citation analysis, and content optimization for conversational surfaces.
  • Familiarity with schema markup, structured data, and semantic HTML; comfortable in a CMS and reading HTML/CSS.
  • Experience configuring AI content creation tools - brand voice profiles, style guides, custom instructions, prompt libraries - and an eye for where AI drafts go wrong on voice and accuracy.
  • Strong analytics skills, with the ability to turn Semrush, Google Analytics, and search console data into a prioritized plan and a clear narrative.
  • Comfortable working with and influencing colleagues who do not report to them; experience advising subject matter experts is a strong plus.
  • Professional services experience and comfort in a partner-led culture preferred.
  • Prior content creation experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital media, communications, computer science, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in: Claude, ChatGPT, Semrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Marketo, Salesforce, Oktopost, Asana
