Full Job Description
The role

You own the self-service content engine: the knowledge base customers search and the library of configuration guides our automated campaigns deliver to the right account at the right moment. You write for developers, you prioritize from support ticket and engagement data, and you measure whether your content deflects tickets and moves product adoption. You work directly with the Director and the team's program manager.

What you'll own
  • The knowledge base backlog, ranked by ticket volume and category. You close the gaps customers hit most and retire stale articles
  • The play library: setup guides, configuration walkthroughs, and feature adoption content that our automated campaigns send based on each account's configuration
  • Lifecycle email content: onboarding sequences, save flows, and win-back tracks, written with the success program manager
  • Content performance: click-through from campaigns, ticket deflection by category, and adoption movement measured against control groups
  • The docs workflow: markdown, git, and review cycles, kept clean enough that anyone can contribute

Your first quarter
  • Rank the knowledge base backlog by ticket data and ship the top gaps
  • Deliver the launch content for the first automated campaign cycles
  • Stand up the content performance readout: clicks, deflection, and adoption movement, reported on the team's measurement cadence

What you'll bring
  • 3+ years of technical writing or developer enablement for a developer-facing product
  • You can read a configuration file, run the setup flow yourself, and write the guide from your own hands-on experience
  • You work in docs-as-code: markdown, git, and review cycles are your normal workflow
  • You prioritize from data: support tickets, search queries, and click behavior tell you what to write next
  • You measure what you publish and rewrite or retire what underperforms

Nice to have
  • You have written for code review, CI/CD, or developer tooling audiences
  • Lifecycle email experience on a marketing automation platform
  • Familiar with AI tooling and examples of you using it for similar roles.
  • Short-form video or interactive tutorial production

How we work

The team runs on measured results. Campaigns ship with control groups, numbers are labeled by source, and every report traces to rules anyone can audit.

OTE for this role is $130K. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location.
