What You'll Bring: - You think like a designer and write like a human. You understand how content shapes workflows, reduces friction and drives outcomes.
- Strong understanding of UX product design best practices, design thinking and the distinction between content design and marketing copywriting.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams while working both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable working in Figma and contributing directly to design files.
- Comfortable using AI tools (writing assistants, prototyping aids and design tools) to accelerate your workflow, with the editorial judgment to know when human refinement is needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting designs, ideas and rationale to partners and leaders.
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, measure outcomes and tell a compelling story.
- Strong time management, prioritization and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
- Must be local to Denver, Colorado, or willing to work in a hybrid environment (four days in-office, one day remote).
- Portfolio required.
- Must include examples of product UI content (screens, flows, error and empty states, design patterns).
- Must demonstrate the ability to clearly explain the problem, users, constraints, content decisions and outcomes or key learnings.
- Bonus if it includes internal tools, admin experiences or other complex B2B products.
- Ability to dedicate time for a portfolio presentation during the interview process.
What You'll Do - You'll be a fully engaged member of a collaborative, lean design team that consists of content design, design and accessibility.
- We value collaboration, iterative processes and peer reviews.
- We use design and collaboration tools such as Kiro, Figma, Jira, Trello and Lucid daily. If any of these are new to you, we'll help you get up to speed.
- Elevate the customer experience with thoughtful, concise UI content such as labels, microcopy, tooltips, error messages and empty states.
- Deliver consistent content for B2B customer- and employee-facing tools that meets business and technical requirements across channels.
- Apply universal design principles by using plain language, predictable patterns and clear information architecture to ensure accessibility and support assistive technologies.
- Contribute to and help govern voice, tone, style and brand guidelines within our style guide and design system.
- Partner with technical teams to update customer-facing email notifications so they align with voice and tone standards.
- Use research, data and testing to inform and validate content and design decisions.
- Use AI-assisted workflows to draft, iterate and refine content, applying editorial judgment to ensure it meets brand and accessibility standards.
- Participate in critiques, design reviews and brainstorming sessions, incorporating feedback to continuously improve the work.
- Oversee the content strategy and voice for one or more product areas.
