About the RoleWe are looking for a senior marketing leader to own how new ChatGPT capabilities and products go to market and grow over time. You will connect product strategy, launch planning, advertising, scaled marketing, partnerships, and performance into one coherent system-so our biggest moments do more than generate attention; they are the beginning of how we change people's understanding and usage of ChatGPT.
This role sits at the intersection of Product, Brand Marketing, and Growth. You will work upstream with Product Marketing to shape audience, positioning, proof, readiness, and measurement, then lead cross-functional teams through launch and scaled marketing programs that drive adoption, engagement, preference, and revenue.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:- Own the marketing strategy for a portfolio of new ChatGPT capabilities and products, from early product development through launch, sustained education, and optimization.
- Translate complex technology into simple, differentiated value propositions, narratives, demonstrations, and experiences that make the next action obvious.
- Build integrated go-to-market plans across product surfaces, communications, brand, creative, social, creators, partnerships, lifecycle, paid media, performance marketing, and international markets.
- Create the launch-to-sustain strategy that turns high-attention moments into deeper feature adoption, repeat use, preference, retention, and paid growth.
- Set portfolio priorities, investment recommendations, and success measures; use consumer, competitive, product, and campaign learning to influence the roadmap and improve the next wave.
You might thrive in this role if you:- Have led major consumer technology products or portfolios from zero-to-one launch through scaled adoption and sustained growth.
- Blend deep product-marketing craft with strong integrated, brand, media, and performance instincts.
- Can turn technical complexity into a human truth and a clear reason to choose, try, and return to a product.
- Have exceptional creative judgment and can inspire ambitious work while giving precise, actionable feedback.
- Think in systems and connect the product experience, narrative, audience, channels, and measurement into one plan.
- Use research and data to set meaningful success measures, diagnose adoption barriers, and change course when the evidence demands it.
- Are an influential cross-functional leader who creates clarity, makes hard tradeoffs, and cares deeply about responsible adoption.
