Full Job Description
Create is hiring a Consumer Insights Lead to build and scale our insights capability from the ground up. This will be our first consumer insights hire, working closely with the Head of Data to design systematic frameworks for extracting, synthesizing, and activating consumer intelligence across the business.

This role is ideal for a strategic, systems-minded insights professional who is comfortable at the intersection of quantitative data, qualitative research, and unstructured consumer signals, able to synthesize each into compelling narratives that drive decisions. You'll have a pivotal role in shaping how Create understands its customers and consumers at large.

What You'll Do:

Insights Architecture & Program Design
  • Design and build repeatable, scalable insights programs - not one-off analyses, but living systems that continuously surface actionable narratives
  • Design and execute a consumer learning roadmap
  • Develop frameworks for integrating quantitative, qualitative, and unstructured data into a unified view of the customer and consumer
  • Proactively identify opportunities, risks, and whitespace based on what consumers are telling us
  • Communicate findings clearly and persuasively across Marketing, Operations, R&D, and Leadership

Quantitative Analysis & Self-Service
  • Become a power user of Omni, our BI platform - building views, slicing data independently, and pressure-testing numbers with the rigor of a data team member
  • Partner with the Head of Data to identify the right metrics and translate business questions into structured analytical approaches
  • Surface patterns in customer behavior, retention, cohort performance, and product trends

Qualitative & Unstructured Data
  • Design and manage qualitative research programs - surveys, customer interviews, panel studies
  • Extract signal from unstructured sources like product reviews and CX conversations
  • Develop a repeatable methodology for turning messy, unstructured consumer voice into structured, decision-ready intelligence

Requirements

  • 3-6+ years in consumer insights, market research, or a blended analytics/research role
  • Demonstrated ability to work across quantitative data, qualitative research, and unstructured consumer signals
  • Expert-level fluency in at least one modern BI tool; experience with Omni or Looker is a strong plus
  • Experience designing and running primary research: surveys and customer interviews
  • Strong analytical intuition - you know how to find the insight inside the noise
  • Exceptional communicator who can translate complexity into clarity for any audience
  • Systems thinker with a bias toward building programs, not answering tickets
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building from a blank slate
  • Experience with unstructured data analysis (reviews, NPS verbatims, CX transcripts) is a plus
  • dbt or backend data experience is a bonus, but not required

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation including salary and equity
  • Fully-paid health, dental, 401K, and vision insurance
  • Downtown Manhattan office (4 days in office), with flexible work setup and 15 days of PTO
