A Business Intelligence Developer serves as a strategic driver of data-driven decision making, architecting and sustaining enterprise-grade data solutions that underpin financial reporting, risk management, regulatory compliance, and long-term business strategy. This role synthesizes large-scale financial and customer datasets into high-impact, actionable intelligence through sophisticated dashboards, reporting frameworks, and advanced analytics. Additionally, the position plays a critical stewardship function by enforcing data integrity, optimizing performance, and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and resilience of the organization’s data ecosystem.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design and deliver enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards that create a single source of truth, provide actionable insights, and support strategic decisions. Develop and maintain datasets through efficient data modeling, DAX, and performance-focused measures, while optimizing SQL queries, views, improve reporting, analytics, and data processing performance.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production reporting and analytics solutions by resolving issues, ensuring reliability and data accuracy, and optimizing dataset performance, scalability, and overall BI environment efficiency
Coordinate and collaborate with IT and Line of Business leadership to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable, data-driven business intelligence solutions, including data availability, data mapping, integration of new data sources, and governance and security across all reporting and analytics deliverables.
Maintains compliance with banking regulations (e.g., data governance, audit requirements)
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support evolving business needs and organizational priorities.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum Experience
6+ years in Business Intelligence, with at least 4+ years specifically dedicated to the PowerBI ecosystem in enterprise environment
Banking experience is preferred

Additional Physical Demands
Work is primarily performed in an office or remote environment and requires extended periods of computer use, including working with data, dashboards, and reporting tools, with the ability to maintain focus and accuracy while managing multiple analytical tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Technical Mastery: Demonstrates expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and the design of complex star schema data models.
BI Theory: Possesses a strong understanding of data warehousing principles and modern business intelligence best practices.
SQL Expertise: Applies advanced SQL skills with a proven ability to develop, optimize, and tune complex queries across large-scale relational data environments.
Problem Solving: Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies efficiently.
Communication: Effectively bridges the gap between technical architecture and business stakeholders by leading solution design discussions and clearly communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

Remote or hybrid: For remote or hybrid positions, a secure and distraction-free setting is required, with a reliable internet connection (cable or fiber preferred, mobile hotspots not acceptable). Hybrid positions will report to a physical Company location, as directed by the manager, and that setting will be a typical office environment.
