Job Summary
The Consumer Bank Sales Process & Readiness Manager serves as a strategic partner responsible for transforming business priorities into operational solutions that enable consistent execution across the Consumer Bank. This role leads the planning, design, implementation, communication, and continuous improvement of sales initiatives by partnering with stakeholders, leveraging technology, and developing readiness strategies that drive adoption. Through performance reporting, business insights, and continuous evaluation, this role measures initiative effectiveness, identifies opportunities for improvement, and helps ensure new processes are successfully implemented, embraced by the field, and aligned with organizational objectives while enhancing the client and teammate experience.

Job Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Initiative Strategy & Operational Design
  • Partners with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and business needs.
  • Designs end-to-end workflows, supporting tools, and field processes that balance client experience, teammate experience, compliance, and business goals.
  • Evaluates existing processes and identifies opportunities to simplify, improve efficiency, and enhance effectiveness.
  • Translates business objectives into scalable operational solutions that support sales execution and organizational goals.


Sales Readiness, Communications, & Implementation
  • Develop implementation plans for new initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Create readiness materials including communications, job aids, readiness guides, newsletters, training resources, and supporting documentation.
  • Translate complex initiatives into clear, actionable guidance for frontline teammates and leaders.
  • Coordinate implementation activities across business partners to ensure successful rollout.


Sales Enablement Systems & Tools
  • Serve as business owner for sales enablement technology, including Salesforce and Dynamics.
  • Partner with technical teams to implement enhancements and resolve issues.
  • Configure and optimize system functionality to support business objectives.
  • Ensure technology effectively enables sales initiatives and reporting needs.


Adoption, Performance, & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor the effectiveness of sales initiatives through performance reporting, field observations, and stakeholder feedback to identify trends, measure adoption, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and business insights to identify opportunities, support informed decision-making, and enhance sales execution across the branch network.
  • Identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities through reporting, stakeholder feedback, and business reviews, recommending solutions that improve sales effectiveness and the teammate experience.
  • Leverage performance reporting and business insights to evaluate initiative effectiveness, identify coaching opportunities, and partner with leaders to drive consistent execution and accountability across the branch network.


Leadership Partnership & Execution Support
  • Partner with sales leadership and execution teams to identify opportunities for improving sales routines.
  • Strategize and facilitate the execution of enhancements that strengthen frontline performance and client engagement.
  • Acts as the operational lead for assigned initiatives by coordinating cross-functional partners, identifying dependencies, proactively communicating progress, and driving execution from planning through implementation and post-launch evaluation.
  • Prepare executive summaries, performance updates, and business reviews that provide leaders with actionable insights into initiative progress, sales performance, and adoption trends.


Risk & Compliance
  • Appropriately manage risk, including compliance responsibilities, in all sales process design and execution activities.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements linked to the job and the team.
  • Understand how compliance practices support the bank's vision of remaining an independent institution.
  • Ensure all sales processes and supporting tools are designed and executed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.


ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance training. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:
  • Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
  • Minimum experience required: 6+ years of experience in sales leadership experience in a retail/consumer banking organization.
  • Process oriented with demonstrated success in executing initiatives and programs.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) business, marketing or communications.
