Full Job Description
Consulting Partner, Site Investigation and Remediation

ERM is seeking established and emerging executive leaders to join our global consulting firm as a Consulting Partner, Site Investigation and Remediation (SIR) based in Toronto or Ottawa. This is a unique opportunity to become an owner and shareholder in the world's leading sustainability consultancy while helping clients tackle complex environmental liabilities, unlock asset value, and achieve their long-term sustainability objectives. As a Partner, you will combine technical excellence, business leadership, and strategic client engagement to drive growth, mentor future leaders, and shape the future of Site Investigation and Remediation services across multiple industries.

Why This Role Matters?

Environmental liabilities are a part of almost every organization's asset portfolio and balance sheet, creating regulatory, technical, and social complexities that can heighten risk and impact asset value. Throughout an asset's lifecycle, ERM helps clients manage these risks through strategic approaches, digital applications, and best-fit technical methods that identify, assess, and manage environmental liabilities.

Through cross-functional strategic engagement, we work to transform environmental liabilities and legacy assets into risk-adjusted portfolios that support favorable outcomes, sustainability goals, and social acceptance.

ERM's Site Investigation and Remediation (SIR) team helps clients through:
  • Asset and portfolio management.
  • Options analysis and exit strategy.
  • Digital data collection, analysis, and portfolio dashboarding.
  • Liability assessments.
  • Asset retirement and/or redevelopment.
  • Regulatory adaptation strategies.
  • Litigation support.
  • Portfolio risk management for emerging issues such as new contaminants, regulatory changes, and stakeholder concerns.

With annual global sales exceeding $400 million, the SIR service area continues to be ERM's largest global service area within a business that has a history of annual double-digit growth. ERM's collaborative global model provides access to leading technical specialists, remediation technology experts, and innovative solutions including thermal remediation, abiotic reduction, and green and sustainable remediation technologies.

As an ERM Partner, you will benefit from:
  • The opportunity to join the world's leading sustainability consultancy and help shape a sustainable future with the world's leading organizations.
  • Meaningful equity ownership with significant financial and intangible rewards.
  • The ability to provide thought leadership on a wide range of technical and business issues impacting our core markets.
  • The opportunity to extend ERM's market position and reach through established and emerging client relationships.

What Your Impact Is:
  • Drive the continued growth of ERM's Site Investigation and Remediation business across Canada and beyond.
  • Develop and strengthen executive-level client relationships across multiple industry sectors.
  • Deliver strategic value through the full spectrum of ERM's consulting services.
  • Grow market presence by identifying opportunities, securing strategic projects, and expanding client partnerships.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing consulting teams.
  • Advance innovative remediation solutions and sustainable services.
  • Collaborate across ERM's global network to deliver integrated solutions and share technical best practices.
  • Help shape the future direction of ERM's SIR service area while contributing to the organization's long-term growth and success.

What You'll Bring:
Required

  • 15+ years' progressive remediation experience in a consulting environment, working substantially with industrial clients; preferably with strong experience in the mining sector along with experience and knowledge of the manufacturing, chemical, diversified energy, power, transportation, pharmaceutical and/or technology sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of contaminated land management challenges in the targeted geographies.
  • Demonstrable track record providing high-value service and technical solutions to Fortune 500 clients.
  • Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges and recognize corporate opportunities.
  • Demonstrable track record in delivering multimillion-dollar sales results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects.
  • Recognized technical expertise and an established reputation in the local marketplace.
Preferred
