RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Top Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 25% of the Time Description The Consulting Mission Assurance Engineer serves as a technical authority and advisor on programs’ Mission Assurance approach, regulatory requirements, and customer-specific mandates for the Eastern Region Quality and Mission Assurance organization. This role partners across engineering, manufacturing, contracts, programs, and supply chain to ensure executability while ensuring compliance with customer/industry regulations and standards, while driving continuous improvement and risk reduction. A successful candidate in this role will be able to translate requirements into business outcomes, influence behavior, and proactively prevent problems. In this role, you will lead assessments, develop execution strategies, and guide the implementation across programs. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. Your mission, should you choose to accept: 3 Conduct comprehensive gap analyses and maturity assessments for Mission Assurance Program execution 3 Actively support proposals to ensure appropriate interpretation of regulatory and contractual requirements 3 Evaluation of the organizations ability to meet customer requirements. 3 Support negotiations of terms and conditions with respect to regulatory flow downs 3 Cross-functionally mentor and train personnel on Mission Assurance approaches for various program/contract types 3 Serve as a non-advocate in the resolution of complex requirements interpretation 3 Supports ethics investigations in requirements interpretation 3 Maintains up to date knowledge of regulations, standards, and industry best practices; disseminates insights internally 3 Potential to serve on industry boards 3 Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels. 3 Other duties as assigned If this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team! Basic Qualifications: 3 Bachelors degree with 16 years of professional experience  OR  Masters degree with 14 years of professional experience  OR  PhD with 12 years of professional experience. 3 Requires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access 3 Experience in design and manufacturing, or technology environment 3 Experience managing multiple concurrent projects 3 Experience with proposal development and contract negotiation 3 Demonstrated ability to navigate teams through conflict resolution 3 Experience with multiple industry standards across aerospace and manufacturing 3 Strong facilitation skills leading workshops and VSM sessions Preferred Qualifications: 3 Top Secret clearance with SCI 3 ASQ Certified Quality Engineer 3 Advanced knowledge and application of industry standards and requirements 3 Extensive experience with Space Flight programs through design, manufacturing, test, delivery and support 3 Experience briefing executive leadership on the interpretation of requirements Curious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? Primary Level Salary Range: $212,100.00 - $318,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
