About the roleAs a Fraud Data & Investigation Analyst, you will make an impact by identifying fraud-related data issues, performing root cause analysis, and translating findings into actionable solutions that strengthen fraud detection and operational efficiency. You will be a valued member of the fraud operations and data team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, Scrum Masters, data engineers, developers, and clients.
In this role, you will• Analyze fraud incidents, transaction patterns, and suspicious activities across payment and banking channels, and conduct deep-dive investigations into fraud trends, anomalies, and operational losses.
• Identify emerging fraud risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support incident reviews and fraud case management activities.
• Investigate data discrepancies, reporting inconsistencies, and data quality issues impacting fraud detection systems, and perform root cause analysis on fraud-related data problems and system defects.
• Validate data integrity across multiple platforms and data sources, and develop recommendations for improving data accuracy, monitoring, and controls.
• Partner with Agile Scrum teams by translating fraud investigation findings into user stories and acceptance criteria, participating in Sprint ceremonies, and providing fraud domain expertise to support solution design and prioritization.

What you must have to be considered• Deep expertise in fraud detection, prevention, and investigation, with a strong understanding of fraud typologies and transaction monitoring.
• Proven experience analyzing fraud incidents, transaction patterns, and suspicious activities across payment and banking channels.
• Strong data analysis skills, including root cause analysis, data quality assessment, and validating data integrity across multiple platforms and sources.
• Experience collaborating with Agile Scrum teams, including translating findings into user stories and acceptance criteria and participating in Sprint ceremonies.
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, engineers, and data teams to improve fraud detection capabilities and operational efficiency.
