Work You'll Do

As an Actuarial Analyst, you will:
  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, engaging with clients across industries, disciplines, and geographies.
  • Collaborate with teams to build financial and mathematical models that drive organizational performance and help clients make informed business decisions.
  • Analyze and interpret large data sets using statistical methods to quantify risk and advise clients on complex business challenges.
  • Perform in specific actuarial areas, grow related skills, and deliver exceptional results to clients as you align with one of Deloitte's five Communities of Practice: Health, Property & Casualty, Life, Rewards & Wellbeing, or Mergers & Acquisitions.

The Team

Required Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Spring/Summer 2027 pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following majors or a related/equivalent program:
    • Actuarial Science
    • Mathematics
    • Statistics
  • Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required, 3.2 cumulative GPA preferred).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must live within a commutable distance to your assigned office (e.g. 100-mile radius) with the ability to commute daily, if required, upon start date
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
Preferred Qualification
  • Completion of at least one exam offered by the Society of Actuaries, Casualty Actuarial Society or comparable organization prior to July 1, 2026
