Job Description
Designation: Consultant
Level: L3
Experience: 4 to 8 years
Location: San Jose, California, United States.
Key Responsibilities
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Social Analytics Analyst who combines deep expertise in social media intelligence with hands-on experience building Agentic AI use cases. This is a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of social listening, data science, and applied generative AI. The successful candidate will not only deliver world-class insights from social conversations across the open and closed web, but also design and deploy autonomous AI agents that scale how the business listens, learns, and acts on consumer signals.
You will partner closely with Brand, Strategy, Communications, Product, Customer Experience, and Data Engineering teams to convert unstructured social data into measurable business outcomes-and to embed AI-driven automation into the analytics workflow itself.
Key Responsibilities
Social Analytics & Insights (Core)
Design and execute end-to-end social listening, audience, influencer, trend, and competitive intelligence studies across platforms including X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, forums, blogs, and news.
Build and maintain always-on dashboards measuring brand health, share of voice, sentiment, engagement, reach, virality, and campaign performance.
Lead deep-dive analyses on consumer narratives, cultural shifts, crisis events, and emerging conversations; translate findings into clear, action-oriented recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Define KPIs, taxonomy, Boolean/semantic query logic, and measurement frameworks aligned to business and marketing objectives.
Own data quality, normalization, and governance across social data sources and listening platforms.
Present insights and recommendations to executive audiences with strong storytelling, data visualization, and narrative skills.
AI & Agentic AI (Differentiator)
Architect, prototype, and productionize Agentic AI use cases that augment or automate social analytics workflows-e.g., autonomous trend detection agents, multi-agent insight generation systems, conversational analytics copilots, automated briefing agents, anomaly-and-crisis monitoring agents.
Build agents that can plan, reason, call tools, query APIs, retrieve from vector stores, and act with human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
Integrate LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT, Gemini, open-source models) with social data platforms, internal data warehouses, and BI tools to deliver scalable insight engines.
Apply prompt engineering, evaluation, guardrails, and observability best practices to ensure accuracy, safety, and reliability of agentic systems.
Partner with Engineering and Data Science to operationalize successful prototypes into stable, monitored production services.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as a trusted advisor to Brand, PR, Strategy, Product, and Insights leadership.
Mentor junior analysts on social methodologies, AI tooling, and analytical rigor.
Contribute to thought leadership-internal capability building, external POVs, and continuous evangelization of AI-augmented analytics.
