Position Summary

We are hiring experienced data analysts with experience in healthcare, consulting, and disputes and investigations analysis. These positions require highly motivated problem solvers with solid analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, and a desire to advance within the organization.

We are currently hiring at two levels:

Consultant - This is a mid-level consulting position for someone with at least four years of relevant experience. The work will involve designing analyses, deliverables, and aspects of complex engagement workstreams, working closely with senior team members to solve complex business problems and support successful client engagements. Responsibilities include managing large datasets and designing statistical and financial analysis, performing self-quality control and quality control of the work of other junior staff, development of client deliverables, task delegation to junior staff, industry research, and report writing.

Senior Associate - This is a junior consulting position for someone with two years of relevant experience. The work will involve the execution of engagement work streams that may be either qualitative or quantitative in nature, and responsibilities include design of statistical and financial analysis, performing self-quality control, development of client deliverables, industry research, and report writing.

These positions are based in one of our BRG offices (Boston, Chicago, DC, New York, Nashville, or Tampa) working with colleagues in the office three to four days a week, on average.

Responsibilities
  • Support various aspects of small to medium sized client engagements and discrete segments of larger projects.
  • Develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets, and other files as dictated by project needs.
  • Perform detailed research and analysis (e.g., gather, review, and summarize literature and data from the public domain, specialized industry resources, or client, public, and commercial databases).
  • Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of relevant software tools, analytical methods, and computer models to develop solutions.
  • Provide valuable contributions to client deliverables and expert reports.
  • Participate in a team environment and work hard to meet client deadlines and quality expectations.


At the Consultant level, you will additionally:
  • Delegate tasks and assignments to junior staff while prioritizing assignments and responsibilities to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Review work product of junior staff for completeness and accuracy.
  • Lead and develop analyses and financial models using transactional data and/or financial data.
  • Participate in group practice meetings, and practice initiatives such as staff training and recruiting.


Qualifications
  • BS/BA with a focus in quantitative analytics (accounting, finance, economics, information systems, mathematics) or related field;
  • 2+ years of prior work experience or educational background in data analytics; prior experience in healthcare/litigation consulting is highly preferred. To be considered at the Consultant level, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to independently execute complex data analytics in either SQL or R at an advanced level is required;
  • Proficiency in additional programming languages (Python, STATA, SAS, etc.) is considered a plus;
  • Prior experience providing mentorship and delegating project tasks to junior team members;
  • Commitment to producing high-quality analysis and attention to detail;
  • Keen interest in economic or financial analysis and research;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Desire to work in a team environment.


Consultant Salary Range: $110,000 - $145,000 per year

Senior Associate Salary Range: $80,000 - $115,000 per year

Job title and compensation to be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
