The construction technical authority role involves a range of responsibilities that are crucial for the successful execution of construction projects. Key duties include:
- Review of: Project controls and construction, risk management, and construction and demolition policies
- Meeting with subcontractors on site: Reviewing their work to ensure adherence to safety guidelines, building codes, and GSK policy.
- Creating project-specific documentation: This involves preparing reports on contractor compliance, checking project milestones against work orders, and spotting any inconsistencies.
- Coordinating building elements: Ensuring that all parties involved are on the same page by coordinating building elements with architects, engineers, external service providers, or other team members.
- Overseeing the execution of contracts: This includes managing changes during construction and completing the final walk-through.
- Preparing reports on contractor compliance: This involves checking that all necessary drawings and specifications required for the project are included in the contract.

Main site will be Rockville, MD but there will be 25% travel between Upper Merion, PA and Zebulon, NC - They would be acting like a SME at the other sites.

Required Skills & Experience- YOE: 5+ in an oversight position
- Experience working in the field prior to and while being in an oversight role
- Experience working on a Greenfield building (concrete, structural, architectural finishing, HVAC, electrical) they might not have self-performed all those, but they were in a position of leadership for a greenfield end to end project.
- Clean Background and Drug Test
