ABOUT THE TEAMThe Design & Construction team at Anduril delivers the factories, labs, offices, and secure spaces that enable our teams to design, build, and deploy advanced defense technology. Our projects span high-performance manufacturing facilities, mission-critical secure environments, and collaborative workspaces, giving our team exposure to a uniquely wide variety of technical and operational challenges. More than just delivering buildings, we are (literally) rebuilding the American defense industrial base. Our work directly accelerates how quickly critical technology moves from concept to production and into the hands of the warfighter.
ABOUT THE JOBThe Capital Operations team sits within the broader Design & Construction organization at Anduril. We are responsible for providing the critical support needed to bring our sites to life. We do so by creating, maintaining, and executing key operational process, analytics, and tools. All the while, we are collaborating with a variety of stakeholders involved in shaping the built environment needed to enable Anduril's mission (construction managers, architects, industrial engineers, real estate planners, finance analysts, and many more). But, first and foremost, we deeply listen to what our Division Leaders need. Whether it is autonomous submarines, robot fighter jets, or AR headsets, we stay close to our end users to ensure we're fueling their success.
This is the team's Construction Systems role. You'll be the true product owner of the software platforms that run our Design & Construction organization, starting with our new Project Management Information System (PMIS), standing up projects, evolving the platform's capabilities, managing its integrations, and training our entire Project Management team who live in it every day, with room to grow into other construction tools over time.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- PMIS Product Ownership:
- Act as the true product owner for our Project Management Information System - owning its configuration, roadmap, and day-to-day operation, and continuously evolving the platform as the team's needs grow.
- Continued feature evolution: Configure and roll out new business processes and modules across the platform's functional areas - portfolio and budget management, contracts and procurement, change orders, invoices and payment applications, document management and submittals, field management, and closeout.
- Own the backlog: Partner closely with project managers, construction managers, and project controls to understand pain points and translate them into prioritized system improvements.
- Project Setup & System Administration:
- Stand up individual projects in the system including initial data entry, project configuration, roles, and templates so teams can start working immediately.
- System administration: Own user provisioning, role-based access, libraries, report configuration, and data integrity across the portfolio.
- Data migration: Build and maintain data import templates and lead the collection, import, and validation of project data for new and in-flight projects.
- Integrations, Reporting & Data:
- Manage integrations between the PMIS and our ERP, Airtable, and other systems, ensuring financial and project data flow accurately and stay in sync.
- Partner on architecture: Work with Anduril Corporate Technology and other stakeholders to maintain, troubleshoot, and extend these integrations over time.
- Reporting & dashboards: Build and maintain the reports and dashboards that give project teams and executives a real-time, centralized view of budgets, commitments, risks, and status.
- Training & Adoption:
- Train all Anduril Project Managers and external Owner's Reps on the system through both group sessions and 1:1 support, and drive adoption of the platform as the single source of truth.
- Documentation & support: Create and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures, and help resources; run helpdesk / office-hours sessions and refine materials based on user feedback.
- Primary point of contact for user questions, troubleshooting, and escalations.
- Implementation & Sustainment:
- Hands-on delivery: Play an active role in bringing the PMIS from build through go-live and into long-term sustainment - helping design business processes, configure the system, test workflows, and support pilot and full-team rollouts.
- Operating rhythm: Establish the ongoing cadence that keeps the platform reliable, secure, and continuously improving well after launch.
- Future Systems (Growth Over Time):
- Expand your remit beyond the PMIS to additional construction technology tools (such as scheduling software), applying the same product-owner discipline: evaluate, implement, integrate, and drive adoption across the portfolio.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum of 6 years of experience implementing, administering, or owning enterprise project management, project controls, or construction management software (e.g., Oracle Unifier / Primavera, Procore, Kahua, e-Builder, or similar).
- Hands-on system configuration experience: you can independently build and modify business processes, workflows, forms, reports, and user permissions - not just operate a system that others configured.
- Experience managing software integrations with ERP or financial systems, and a working understanding of how data flows between platforms (Oracle Fusion experience is a strong plus).
- A product owner's mindset: you gather requirements from non-technical users, prioritize a roadmap, and translate business needs into system capabilities.
- Strong training and communication skills: you can teach busy project and construction managers to adopt new tools through group and 1:1 sessions, and produce clear documentation.
- Comfort operating amid ambiguity and driving a platform from implementation through long-term sustainment.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time (international travel included) for select trainings and systems configurations.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in construction, capital projects, or an Owner's organization (Owner's Representative, general contractor, or corporate real estate / construction).
- Experience with advanced manufacturing-related or mission-critical facility projects.
- Familiarity with construction financial processes: budgets, commitments, change orders, invoices / payment applications, and cost forecasting.
- Experience with reporting / BI tools and low-code data platforms (e.g., Airtable, Power BI).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
