Specific Skills
• Lead and supervise construction crews, ensuring efficient allocation of labour, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Accomplish construction human resource objectives by recruiting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating employees; enforcing discipline where required and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors by sourcing, evaluating, negotiating contracts, and continuously monitoring performance, quality of work, and compliance with project specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute construction activities accurately while ensuring compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to strategic planning by providing construction insights, improving operational processes, and implementing productivity, quality control, and customer service standards.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations, troubleshoot complex construction issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Prepare project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion of milestones while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations by conducting site inspections, enforcing safety protocols, and promoting a culture of workplace safety.
