OverviewWhat You'll Do
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and applicable building codes. This role manages dayto-day field operations, coordinates subcontractors and vendors, and serves as the primary on-site leader across multiple projects.
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and building codes
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety policies and procedures
- Monitor project schedules and adjust workflows as needed to meet deadlines
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and proper use of materials and equipment
- Identify project risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to maintain project alignment
- Ability to identify project risks early on and communicate up to leadership
- Lead job site meetings and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders
- Track project progress, maintain documentation, and prepare reports on budgets, timelines, and performance
- Manage material deliveries, inventory, and site logistics
- Travel to multiple job sites as requiredMay be required to cross-train and perform other duties.
Essential Qualities for Success
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations (OSHA), and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Prolonged standing, walking, climbing, and lifting as required on job sites
- May require extended hours, including evenings or weekends, based on project needs

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annualized. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
