Construction Site Safety Manager
Epstein is seeking a Construction Site Safety Manager to join our growing Construction team at a project in Manteno, Illinois.

Overview
Epstein is seeking a Construction Site Safety Manager to be responsible for managing Epstein's Construction safety program, performing Site Safety inspections, training our staff, reviewing Site Specific Safety Plans, reviewing Subcontractor Safety information, on-site safety education, support our field teams on near miss / incident reporting, promoting a Zero Injury Safety Culture and being a passionate advocate protecting the Health and Life Safety of everyone on our job site.

General Responsibilities
• Manage and Train Epstein construction staff on Safety Program, Safety Forms and regular Safety Awareness Topics / Toolbox talks
• Support the creation of Site Specific Safety Plan
• Review subcontractor safety information
• Support our field teams on near miss / incident reporting
• Assist in prequalifying Subcontractors based on safety information
• Support ISN / Avetta Safety programs
• Manage and perform on-site safety training for subcontractors
• Conduct regular site inspections, recording all violations and noting what remediation needs to occur to keep the project moving safely
• Coordinating with Client's Safety Officials and integrating Client's safety programs into our jobsites
• Coordinate / support response to on-site emergencies, and interface with off-site and on-site emergency response entities

Desired Skills and Experience
• 10+ years of construction industry experience in the field on projects managing safety programs
• Able to demonstrate training in the following areas: Personal protective equipment and clothing to include selection, use and maintenance, hazard communication, excavation, scaffolding, fall protection, and confined space
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED Training
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Must be proficient in English, ability to speak Spanish beneficial

Individual compensation is determined by several factors, including relevant education, experience and training, qualifications, skill sets, licensure/certifications and location. Employees are also eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on both company and individual performance. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 annually.
