Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY

Leading the construction process efforts for assigned project(s) to ensure the success is aligned with the budget, schedule, and is constructible.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires the knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through the completion of a five-year electrical apprentice program.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three to five years' experience in a project management position in construction industry.
    Bachelor's degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline or equivalent experience.


KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated financial analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office.
  • Tactful and has professional demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with manager, employees, vendors, and others.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance.
  • Opportunity for travel may be available.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides safety leadership.
  • Contract administration.
  • Project set-up.
  • Site labor coordination and scheduling.
  • Budgeting and estimating.
  • Documentation/submittals/O & M's.
  • Coordinate purchasing and sub-contracts.
  • Production tracking.
  • Quality control/quality assurance.
  • Project cost control and billing.
  • Project cost to complete/forecasting.
  • Project change orders.
  • Project closeout.
  • Internal/external communication.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
