Full Job Description
Position: Scheduler
Reports to: Director of Scheduling and Constructability
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000

We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.

The Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring seamless sequencing of tasks to achieve project objectives. This role works closely with project managers, field operations, general contractors, and suppliers to optimize timelines, allocate resources, and minimize delays. The Scheduler plays a pivotal role in planning and coordinating electrical construction projects. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and update project electrical construction schedules using P6, considering activities, sequencing, resources, and constraints
  • Establish accurate timelines for construction activities, accounting for dependencies and critical paths
  • Coordinate with project managers, field operations, and stakeholders to allocate resources efficiently, resolve conflicts, and minimize delays
  • Monitor project progress by collecting and analyzing data, identifying schedule deviations, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of schedules, progress reports, change orders, and relevant records
  • Generate regular reports, presentations, and updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and upcoming activities
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction scheduling through continuous professional development
