Construction Project Manager

Structures is seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager to drive both revenue growth and project excellence across our expanding hardscape construction portfolio. This unique hybrid role combines strategic business development with traditional project management responsibilities, making it ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives on variety and client engagement.

Business Development Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth and consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas through strategic identification, qualification, and closure of new business opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain new client relationships that contribute to sustainable business growth and market expansion.
- Strengthen existing client partnerships by increasing Structures' share of customers' hardscape business through value-added services and strategic account management.
- Develop and customize comprehensive value propositions that effectively address client needs while maximizing project profitability.
- Negotiate sales contracts and agreements that secure projects ideally suited to Structures' capabilities and strategic objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of competitors' service offerings, capabilities, pricing strategies, and geographic market presence.
- Identify emerging market trends and new service offerings that would appeal to both prospective and existing clients.
- Partner closely with the Estimating team to develop innovative bidding strategies that differentiate Structures' proposals.
- Maintain current knowledge of Structures' complete service portfolio to cross-sell and upsell opportunities effectively.
- Participate in proposal development, client presentations, and strategic planning initiatives.
Project Management Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead all project phases from planning and estimating through execution and closeout.
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and tracking change orders to ensure profitability.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely delivery and manage resource allocation efficiently.
- Serve as the primary client liaison during project execution, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and resolving issues promptly.
- Enforce Structures' standards for safety, quality, and technical specifications, conducting regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Coordinate internal teams (Pre-Construction, Estimating, Accounting) and external stakeholders for seamless project delivery.
- Work closely with pre-construction, estimating, and accounting teams to ensure seamless project execution and proper financial management.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile contract discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly.
- Lead close-out activities in coordination with internal teams to ensure all deliverables are completed, and client satisfaction is achieved.
Requirements & Work Environment:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience OR minimum 3 years of construction industry experience.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex projects
Technology Requirements
- Proficiency with project management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfort with mobile technology for field-based communication and documentation.
- Ability to use construction-specific software applications as needed.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 40% of national travel is required for client meetings, project site visits, and business development activities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Flexibility to accommodate client schedules and project demands.
