SERVPRO - Annapolis, MD
Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Salary: $80,000-$105,000 per year + performance bonus

Position Overview

SERVPRO is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects from contract through completion.

This is a project execution role. Our Project Managers are supported by a dedicated estimating team and Construction Coordinator, allowing the PM to focus on running projects, communicating with customers, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, protecting profitability, and delivering quality work.

If you are organized, accountable, good with customers, and know how to keep multiple construction projects moving at the same time, this could be a great opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sold reconstruction projects from contract through completion
  • Review project scope, estimate, budget, and expectations before work begins
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and inspections
  • Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the project
  • Perform jobsite visits and monitor workmanship, progress, and cleanliness
  • Identify and resolve project issues before they become larger problems
  • Coordinate change orders and scope changes with the estimating and administrative teams
  • Monitor project costs and protect targeted gross profit margins
  • Keep project status and next steps current for the reconstruction team
  • Coordinate with estimators and the Construction Coordinator on contracts, deposits, documentation, scheduling, and customer needs
  • Perform quality-control inspections and final walkthroughs
  • Drive projects to timely completion and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate project documentation
  • Escalate significant customer, subcontractor, schedule, or profitability issues when necessary

What We're Looking For

  • Previous construction project management experience
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple active projects
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and hold subcontractors accountable
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and quality control
  • Ability to monitor budgets and project profitability
  • Restoration or insurance reconstruction experience is a plus
  • Xactimate experience is helpful but not required
  • Comfortable working independently while being part of a larger reconstruction team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Why This Role Is Different

Our Project Managers are not expected to spend their days selling projects or writing every estimate.

A dedicated estimating team develops and sells reconstruction projects, and an in-office Construction Coordinator supports customer communication, scheduling, documentation, contracts, deposits, change orders, and project follow-up.

That allows the Project Manager to focus on what they do best: running projects, managing customers and subcontractors, maintaining quality, protecting profitability, and getting jobs completed.

What We Offer

  • $80,000-$105,000 base salary
  • Performance bonus opportunity
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Health and other company benefits
  • Training and professional development
  • Established estimating and administrative support
  • Career growth within a growing restoration and reconstruction company

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment screening.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
