The Construction Project Manager RoleBLT is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground Construction Project Manager role designed for builders who thrive onsite and take full ownership of execution.
The Construction Project Manager will be 100% onsite, managing day-to-day construction activity and coordinating across general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders. This is not an office-based or reporting-only role; success as a Construction Project Manager at BLT is defined by execution, leadership, and results.
Projects are primarily ground-up multifamily developments ranging from 250-450 units, with occasional commercial/office projects and adaptive reuse depending on the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager- Develop, manage, and enforce detailed project schedules
- Serve as the onsite Construction Project Manager leading all field coordination
- Manage General Contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants
- Maintain daily onsite presence to drive schedule adherence, quality, and accountability
- Identify, escalate, and resolve construction issues proactively
- Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment across the full project lifecycle
- Represent BLT as the primary Construction Project Manager onsite
Project Scope- Ground-up multifamily construction projects (250-450 units)
- Select commercial/office construction and asset conversion projects
- Typically 1-2 projects managed concurrently by each Construction Project Manager
What We're Looking For- 8+ years of proven experience working as a Construction Project Manager (assistant or support roles will not be considered)
- Experience managing projects of similar size and complexity
- Ground-up multifamily or large scale commercial construction experience strongly preferred
- Background with a general contractor or owner/developer is acceptable
- Strong schedule management, field coordination, and leadership skills
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, lean, high-accountability environment
