Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
• 5-7 years of project management experience in construction
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
• Knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, negotiation, and cost control skills
• Willingness to travel to job sites

Responsibilities

• Create Statements of Work (SOW) for Requests for Proposals (RFP)
• Assist in obtaining three bids for trades and suppliers using proprietary formats
• Collaborate with office to produce contracts, Schedules of Values, and timelines
• Manage and minimize Change Orders by adhering to contract specifications
• Support hiring and recruitment of on-site labor and licensed tradespeople
• Estimate material quantities and source suppliers
• Oversee construction schedules and subcontractor activities
• Lead monthly safety meetings
• Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
• Coordinate project efforts among site supervisors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Facilitate the flow and approval process for RFIs, Submittals, and PCOs
• Conduct weekly or monthly on-site owner meetings and document minutes
