What You Bring:- Industry Experience: 4+ years managing projects in commercial construction - experience in commercial drywall and metal framing required.
- Communication & Relationship Skills: You build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and work well in a team environment with multiple moving parts.
- Leadership: A track record of leading crews effectively - driving accountability, morale, and results through mentorship.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with project management platforms, estimating tools, scheduling software, and project documentation.
- Client Focus: You anticipate client needs and consistently deliver work that supports long-term relationships.
- Adaptability: You adjust quickly when project conditions change and keep your team steady through complex situations.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Oversee all phases of commercial drywall projects from preconstruction planning through final close-out.
- Build and manage detailed project schedules, keeping crews aligned and milestones on track.
- Monitor and control project costs, identifying efficiencies without sacrificing quality.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, architects, and subcontractors, providing responsive and professional service.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies before issues escalate.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, support field teams, and maintain crew cohesion.
- Coach and develop project staff.
- Ensure thorough project documentation and full compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
