Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• 5-7 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with general computer software tools.
• Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and architectural principles or standards.
• Skills in budgeting, scheduling, negotiating, and cost control.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Create Statements of Work (SOW) for Requests for Proposals (RFP).
• Assist in collecting three bids for trades and suppliers using proprietary formats.
• Collaborate with the office to produce contracts, including SOWs and schedules.
• Manage and minimize change orders by adhering to contract terms.
• Assist in hiring on-site labor and licensed tradespeople.
• Estimate material quantities, source suppliers, and determine pricing.
• Oversee construction schedules and subcontractor activities.
• Lead monthly safety meetings to ensure compliance and awareness.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships effectively.
• Coordinate project efforts among site supervisors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Facilitate the approval processes for RFIs, submittals, and PCOs.
• Lead weekly or monthly site owner meetings, generating agendas and minutes.
