Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting three bids for trades and suppliers using proprietary formats.
  • Collaborate with the office to produce contracts, including SOWs and schedules.
  • Manage and minimize change orders by adhering to contract terms.
  • Assist in hiring on-site labor and licensed tradespeople.
  • Estimate material quantities, source suppliers, and determine pricing.
  • Oversee construction schedules and subcontractor activities.
  • Lead monthly safety meetings to ensure compliance and awareness.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships effectively.
  • Coordinate project efforts among site supervisors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate the approval processes for RFIs, submittals, and PCOs.
  • Lead weekly or monthly site owner meetings, generating agendas and minutes.

Job Overview

We are looking to hire an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing team.
Responsibilities for Construction Project Manager (3-4 Projects) New England

  • Create SOW for RFP
  • Assist in receiving 3 bids for all trades, suppliers and using company proprietary buy out format
  • Work with office to produce contracts including Schedule of Values , SOW, and Schedules
  • Manage and minimize Change Orders by strictly ahering to and understanding what is in the contract
  • Assist with hiring and posting for on site labor and in house licensed tradespeople.
  • Assist estimating Quantities of Material, sourcing suppliers and pricing supplies
  • Manage construction schedules and sub contractor activities.
  • Lead Monthly safety meetings
  • Assist Selecting and managing subcontractor and supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate efforts across entire project between Site Super, architect, MEP and Structural engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Assist in flow and approvals for RFIs, Submittals, PCOs,
  • Lead Weekly or Monthly on site owner meetings generate complete agenda and minutes
Qualifications for Construction Project Manager
  • Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management within construction.
  • Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
  • Travel to job sites
