Construction & Project Manager The Construction & Project Manager will play a critical role in executing the company's long-term port infrastructure strategy. This role will oversee port infrastructure projects in all regions the company operates including the East Coast, Mississippi River and tributaries, Pacific Northwest and Great Lakes. This role will report to the Director of Port Development and Construction.
Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee port infrastructure projects across the country.
- Oversee the construction of cruise ships docks.
- Source, interview and assist in selecting marine contractors.
- Review, compare and present bid packages from contractors.
- Coordinate utility installation of water, sewer and electric.
- Develop a project tracker to include key timelines, milestones and budget for each project.
- Primary point of contact between engineers and construction companies.
- Travel to project locations before, during and after construction.
- Ability to make presentations to groups including port partners on status of projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong Organizational skills.
- Strong Excel Skills.
- Detail Oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
Work Schedule:- Ability to work in-person at our Guilford, CT home office.
- Approximately 30-50% Travel required.
