Job DescriptionThe Project/Construction Manager assists with the planning, coordination, and direction of construction management activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with performance and contractual requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Maintains project documentation to ensure accuracy of project data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project related entities.
- Assists in monitoring and reporting compliance with contractual requirements of contractor, architect, engineer and other team members as applicable.
- Primary contact and liaison for owner and principal partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures and related deliverables
- Functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with construction/project requirements
- Maintains complex project logs and tracking of relevant data and information for use by project staff and necessary entities.
- Manages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project closeout
- Leads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses
- Represents owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetings
- Participates in meeting preparation, support and follow up documentation.

- Manages bid phase services, as may be required by the client
- Performs other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or related degree is required
- 8 to 10 years full-time experience in engineering or construction management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication, presentation, writing, and computer skills are essential
- Superior organization and planning skills
- Must be able to manage the project schedule and update process while collaborating with internal and external clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred
- Design Build Experienced (DBIA) preferred
- Healthcare, Justice or Public Safety experience is preferred
