Description

The Construction Manager / Superintendent is responsible for leading day-to-day field operations and ensuring construction projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. This position serves as the primary onsite leader, coordinating subcontractors and field crews while working closely with project management to execute the overall project plan.

The successful candidate will have strong construction leadership experience, extensive subcontractor coordination skills, and the ability to manage schedules, safety, quality, documentation, and field-related project issues.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, Construction Manager, or Field Manager
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience directing day-to-day construction site operations
  • Experience scheduling, coordinating, managing, and inspecting subcontractor and trade-partner work
  • Experience managing and enforcing construction project schedules and milestones
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction-site safety practices
  • OSHA 30-hour certification
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Experience performing construction quality inspections
  • Expert ability to read and interpret multi-discipline blueprints, structural drawings, specifications, and schematics
  • Experience ensuring construction complies with project plans, specifications, and applicable building codes
  • Experience reviewing blueprints and submitting RFIs
  • Experience supporting change-order evaluations
  • Experience monitoring labor, materials, resource allocation, and general conditions expenditures
  • Experience completing daily field reports and documenting labor hours, weather impacts, material deliveries, and project progress
  • Strong subcontractor and field-crew leadership skills
  • Ability to mentor field personnel and resolve jobsite conflicts
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore or Autodesk
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to navigate active and uneven construction sites
  • Ability to climb temporary stairs, ladders, and scaffolding
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive commercial or industrial construction superintendent experience
  • Advanced Procore experience
  • Autodesk construction software experience
