Position DescriptionRohadfox Construction Management is seeking a Construction Logistical Specialist 111 aka (ARM Terminal Roadway and ASR Assistant) for our client located in West Los Angeles. They will be responsible for maintaining the CALM processes and work flows to ensure that communication is maintained to all project teams and stakeholders with accurate and timely data as it pertains to each activity. The Construction Logistical Specialist will work with the CALM Team and will be responsible for preparing and distributing materials relating to workshops and meetings, activities and project coordination. This effort includes tracking requests from beginning to end, meeting minutes, coordinating meetings and streamlining processes.
Job Overview- Attends Terminal, roadway, and airfield project meetings to assess time and space schedule impacts across the CIP program.
- Review new projects for time and space conflicts, impacts to ongoing construction projects and operational impacts.
- Conduct Reviews of projects' submittals Phasing Plan and Site Logistics Plans, as submitted through the ASR and LIR process.
- Comment and schedule site walks as needed. Leads assessments of program logistics and creates reports and communication regarding logistics on multiple projects.
- Actively oversees ongoing logistics and changes.
Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications- Bachelor's degree and 15 years of professional experience; graduate degree may substitute for one year of experience
- Problem solver with a strong ability to prioritize and switch gears in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working within the complexities of multiple agencies at all levels
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Geared to share information and communicate with team members
- A general understanding of civil construction
Hardware/Software Knowledge- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, Access and PowerPoint), Adobe Illustrator, Bluebeam
- Ability to create dashboards, presentations, graphics, Gantt charts and track multiple ongoing activities
Education/Training- Bachelor's degree in architecture, aviation, business, engineering, construction management, planning or other related technical field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Relevant professional licensure &/or certifications are strongly preferred. Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc.
Additional Requirements- Must pass a federal background check.
