Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to help oversee and manage our projects on renewable energy projects, specifically utility scale solar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully executing complex projects on time and within budget. As a Construction Forman, you will be responsible for working with the site Superintendent to coordinate all site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication between stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Full-time travel position to various project sites.
  • Assist Superintendent in managing day-to-day operations on the project site, ensuring that work is performed efficiently and meets project specifications.
  • Provide Superintendent with regular updates on project status, progress, and any issues or concerns.
  • Supervise and direct on-site personnel, including operators, laborers, subcontractors and vendors. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards promptly.
  • Monitor work quality and adherence to project plans and specifications. Implement corrective actions as needed to address deficiencies.
  • Maintain and ensure consistent and accurate field reporting including daily reports, extra work orders, safety logs, and incident reports.
  • Inspect all equipment onsite daily and report to management with needed repairs.
  • Track project quantities for scheduling, record keeping and billing in a timely manner.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in renewable energy and utility scale solar projects.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Conduct self in a way that represents the company in a safe and professional manner.
  • Ability to work 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office program suite and web-based construction management programs.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  • Annual Salary: $90,000-120,000+ based on experience
