Responsibilities
NV5 is seeking a Community Construction Liaison to serve as the primary connection between project teams and the public during construction projects. This role is responsible for keeping community members informed, addressing concerns, and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend community and stakeholder meetings.
- Provide updates on project plans, schedules, and construction progress.
- Respond to public inquiries and coordinate resolutions to questions and complaints.
- Maintain stakeholder and mailing lists.
- Prepare and distribute newsletters, notices, and press releases.
- Support public outreach and community engagement efforts.
- Document and track public feedback.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in community relations, public outreach, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.
- Experience interfacing with the public, community groups, government agencies, or project stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and professional correspondence.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and address concerns diplomatically.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to attend community meetings and project-related events.

The pay range for this New York position is $48.00- $52.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
