RQ Construction is looking for experienced
Construction Assistant Superintendents to join our Field Operations team supporting projects in
Jacksonville, Florida area.
As an Assistant Superintendent, you'll work closely with the Superintendent to oversee daily field operations and keep construction activities moving forward. You'll help coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and site activities while ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans, specifications, and contract requirements. You'll also assist with maintaining schedules, monitoring production, supporting cost control, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $90,000-$115,000 annually, based on experience

Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required; construction management, engineering, or related coursework is a plus
- At least 3 years of experience as a Lead Foreman on medium to large construction projects, including scheduling, material coordination, field supervision, safety, quality, and production responsibilities
- 3+ years of hands-on construction trade or field operations experience strongly preferred
- Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred
- Design-Build experience is a plus
- Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent on federal construction projects preferred
- Experience working in secure or controlled-access facilities, including military or government sites, is desirable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications required; training available as needed
- Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit is a plus
- CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM 385, and STS credentials required; training may be provided
- LEED Green Associate certification is a plus
