Valerio Emergency Plumbing is hiring an experienced Connecticut-licensed P-2 plumber for a full-time service position.

This is an opportunity for a capable plumber who wants steady work, competitive pay, professional support, and a meaningful role in the growth of a locally owned plumbing company.

We primarily perform residential and commercial service, repair, and emergency plumbing throughout Fairfield County. This is not exclusively a construction or rough-in position, we are an emergency service provider The right candidate should be comfortable diagnosing problems, communicating with customers, presenting appropriate repair options, and completing quality work without constant supervision.

Compensation

  • $42-$50 per hour, based on service experience and technical ability
  • Overtime opportunities
  • Additional earnings for after-hours emergency service
  • Performance and compensation reviews as the company grows

What You Will Do

  • Diagnose residential and light-commercial plumbing problems
  • Repair leaks, burst pipes, failed fixtures, water heaters, supply lines, drains, and other plumbing systems
  • Respond calmly and professionally to emergency plumbing calls
  • Explain findings and repair options clearly to customers
  • Complete repairs efficiently and in accordance with Connecticut plumbing codes
  • Identify additional legitimate plumbing concerns without using high-pressure sales tactics
  • Document every job with accurate notes, photographs, materials, and recommendations
  • Collect required customer authorizations and payments
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Protect customers' homes and businesses throughout the service call
  • Communicate with dispatch and management regarding job status
  • Participate in a scheduled, compensated after-hours on-call rotation

What We Are Looking For

  • Active Connecticut P-2 Plumbing License-required
  • Residential service and repair experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work independently and complete jobs correctly the first time
  • Professional, respectful customer communication
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Dependability, punctuality, and personal accountability
  • Ability to use a smartphone and field-service applications
  • Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of plumbing work

Experience with water heaters, drain service, sewer cameras, backflow devices, pumps, commercial service, or emergency loss response is valuable but not required in every area.

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Primarily weekday service work
  • Overtime available
  • Rotating after-hours and weekend emergency coverage
  • On-call expectations and compensation will be explained clearly during the interview
