Senior Configuration Manager to run configuration management for the portfolio for our proposed support to the United States Marine Corps, Program Manager Marine Air Ground Task Force Command and Control (PM MAGTF C2), at Stafford, Virginia.
This position is contingent upon contract award. Work is performed at Government facilities or a Triumph site within 15 miles of them; this position is not remote.
ABOUT THE WORK PM MAGTF C2 assesses, acquires, fields and sustains the command and control capabilities Marines use to plan and execute operations. Triumph provides program office support across contract maintenance and execution, life cycle logistics and product support, engineering services, and test and evaluation. The Senior Configuration Manager owns the record behind every Configuration Control Board decision across the MAGTF C2 portfolio.
WHAT YOU WILL DO - Receive, record and maintain the archive of all change proposals, test incident reports, trouble reports and requests for waivers or deviations submitted to the Configuration Control Boards, with current status and board decisions.
- Maintain the configuration control database, currently CM-PRO, and reconcile it against board decisions on a fixed cycle.
- Update the MAGTF C2 Configuration Management Plan annually and on request, and keep board appointment letters current.
- Write and submit board agendas and briefing materials, and transcribe board discussions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree.
- 12 years in configuration management.
- United States citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. The Government assigns position-level security and information technology designations under DD Form 254.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Configuration identification, control, status accounting and audit.
- CM-PRO or equivalent.
- Configuration Control Board administration.
