Configuration Manager, Level 3 (AE26061356)
AEITS, Inc., a GTSC company, seeks a Configuration Manager, Level 3.
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI with polygraph.
Position Requirements
- Provide Configuration Management support to the HPC Operations and Sustainment organization, specifically in support of the Y33 Configuration/Change Engineering Review Board (CERB) and lower-level Y33 Configuration Management Control Boards (CCBs)
- Assist the CERB Chair in providing comprehensive quality assurance and configuration management for all HPC Systems
- Serve as an advisor to (or non-voting member of) Y33CERB and CCBs
- Facilitate the management of software and hardware Configuration Items (CIs)
- Participate in the creation, update, and/review of Configuration Management (CM) Plans, and other associated documents.
- Implement hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures
- Assist in maturing the Y33 request for change (RFC) processes across the CERB and CCBs
Educational Requirements:
- Eight (8) years' experience as a CM in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional CM experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- A Master's degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to six (6).
- If assigned to a developmental program, one (1) year of experience using a source code control system for a developmental program of similar scope and complexity is required.
