Responsibilities

  • Provide Configuration Management support for HPC Operations and the Y33 Configuration/Change Engineering Review Board
  • Assist in quality assurance and configuration management for all HPC Systems
  • Advise Y33CERB and CCBs as a non-voting member
  • Facilitate management of hardware and software Configuration Items
  • Participate in creating, updating, and reviewing Configuration Management Plans
  • Implement version control processes for hardware and software
  • Develop and modify CM plans tailored to system complexity

Full Job Description
  • Provide Configuration Management support to the HPC Operations and Sustainment organization, specifically in support of the Y33 Configuration/Change Engineering Review Board (CERB) and lower-level Y33 Configuration Management Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Assist the CERB Chair in providing comprehensive quality assurance and configuration management for all HPC Systems
  • Serve as an advisor to (or non-voting member of) Y33CERB and CCBs
  • Facilitate the management of software and hardware Configuration Items (CIs)
  • Participate in the creation, update, and/review of Configuration Management (CM) Plans, and other associated documents.
  • Implement hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures
  • Assist in maturing the Y33 request for change (RFC) processes across the CERB and CCBs
  • Responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems.
  • Works on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems.
  • Uses or recommends automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures.
  • Develops or modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system.
  • Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
  • Perform change control and configuration audits.

The projected compensation range for this position is $125K - $150K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
