Position SummaryThe Configuration Management Specialist will conduct all aspects of configuration management support for the TDL ISEA.
Responsibilities - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date configuration data within CMPRO for all assigned hardware assets.
- Ensuring configuration items (CIs) are properly identified, documented, and tracked throughout their lifecycle.
- Supporting change management processes by documenting and tracking hardware changes within CMPRO.
- Generating reports from CMPRO to support audits, assessments, and decision-making.
- Collaborating with logistics personnel, and system administrators to ensure configuration accuracy.
- Enforcing configuration management policies and procedures.
- Prepare shipping documentation for outgoing systems. Receive and processes shipping documentation for systems and configuration items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track system/equipment locations.
- Update and utilize tracking systems
- Resolve discrepancies in shipments or inventory counts.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements - Bachelors' Degree from an accredited university or in lieu of degree 5+ years of experience working in a Configuration Management role
- This position requires an existing U.S. Government DoD granted security clearance/eligibility at the final Secret level. Individuals must be able to maintain the necessary security clearance/eligibility for continued employment.

ExperienceRequired: - 3+ years of experience working with CMPro CM software tool
- Experience supporting and facilitating Configuration Control Boards
- Experience with reading, reviewing, and interpreting engineering and design drawings
- Very good written and verbal communication, along with effective time management skills
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting. Familiarity with Word and PowerPoint for documentation and briefings.
Special Knowledge Skills: - CMPRO Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in utilizing CMPRO for CI creation, modification, relationship mapping, and reporting. Must be able to navigate the system efficiently and troubleshoot common issues. Specific version knowledge of CMPRO currently in use is highly desirable.
- Hardware Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware components (servers, workstations, networking equipment, peripherals, etc.). Ability to identify hardware specifications and configurations.
- Data Management: Proficiency in data entry, data validation, and data integrity principles.
- Reporting & Analysis: Ability to generate reports from CMPRO and analyze data to identify trends or discrepancies
Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
