Job description
As a Configuration Management Analyst, you will be able to develop a diverse product knowledge while maintaining effective communication within the engineering organization. In this role, you will ensure that the processes followed, and data produced for newly developed and supported product meets customer and company requirements throughout its life. This includes the management and control of data and support to engineering and other project team members related to product configuration management processes, practices, and systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manages and maintains effective communication with Engineering team members to understand individual support requirements.
• Develops diverse product knowledge.
• Drives improvements based on end user experience.
• Reviews, analyzes, and releases change requests to drawings.
• Reviews, analyzes, and releases deviations/waivers.
• Applies knowledge from Engineering and Government Standards and becomes first point of contact for configuration management concerns.
• May work with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results.
• May work with engineers to release procedures for testing systems and equipment.
• Analyzes, maintains, compiles and formats data and design changes.
• Reviews drawings, reports, and engineering documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with configuration management processes, and practices.
• Experience with design in highly regulated industry.
• Interfering with internal customer in discussions involving configuration controls.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in the Engineering Change Process, drawing changes, and engineering bill of materials.
• Experience with SAP, PLM systems (Team Center).
• Ability to gather information, facilitate and coordinate activities.
• Possess problem solving and solution skills.
• Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint experience.
Candidate skills & requirements
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

$70,000 - $100,000 depending in experience
