Full Job Description

Core Responsibilities

1. Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.

2. Leads and oversees teams that provide network services. Ensures network installations meet standards and align with the divisional strategy.

3. Oversees the resolution of the most complex issues elevated from Support Center and Technical Services groups. Ensures problem identification, escalation, and resolution occurs in an expedient manner on all platforms.

4. Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures, system monitoring and automation, and troubleshooting activities. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and implements solutions. Ensures the maintenance of the telecom network documentation repository.

5. Develops and implements short and long term department goals. Implements operational plans to achieve department objectives. Ensures service level commitments are clearly understood to meet business needs.

6. Persuades and influences senior business and IT leaders across multiple sub-divisions for enterprise-impacting prioritization on transformational technology imperatives. Understands the business and enterprise requirements for network applications and implements supporting technical capabilities.

7. Provides leadership in managing the testing, evaluation, and selection of vendor products and manages relationships with vendors.

8. Ensures compliance with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures within the team, an ensures deliverables meet Information Security Requirements.

9. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of ten years related work experience, with at least five years of Network experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree required.
