Overview:

This social content creator will be a key member of our in-house social creative team to concept and bring to life unexpected, hilarious, and shareworthy content ideas. We are seeking an individual with a deep understanding of how people consume, engage with, and share content across social platforms. You know the nuances of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging channels, understand what makes content perform on each, and are eager to turn those insights into standout creative work for a variety of brands.

Fueling brand fandom across owned social channels inclusive of ongoing strategy for content pillars, quick-turn conversational visuals, evergreen series, creator and influencer partnerships, and longform entertainment, you will be creating all kinds of original ideas that build stories for brand fans. If you love the combination of creative thinking and making, this could be the role for you.

What you'll do:
• Develop original social-first concepts and campaigns that range from always-on content to larger tentpole ideas and earned-led activations
• Generate ideas independently and collaboratively, contributing meaningfully to brainstorms and helping lead internal ideation sessions
• Create content tailored to the nuances of each platform, with a strong understanding of how audiences consume content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest and emerging channels
• Identify and translate cultural moments, platform trends, creator behaviors, and audience insights into opportunities for our clients that make sense for the brand
• Work within established brand and social strategies to develop ideas that are both creatively compelling and strategically sound
• Bring ideas to life through hands-on content creation, balancing conceptual thinking with executional excellence
• Be willing to step in front of the camera from time to time-whether for creator-style content, trend participation, or helping bring an idea to life
• Capture content using a variety of production approaches-from lo-fi iPhone content and creator-style videos to larger-scale studio and on-location productions
• Present concepts, creative rationale, and finished work directly to clients with confidence and professionalism
• Build trusted relationships with clients, incorporating feedback while advocating for strong creative solutions
• Balance multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities and timelines while maintaining a high standard of creative quality
• Stay relentlessly curious about social platforms, creators, emerging technologies, and new formats shaping the future of content
• Create work that earns attention and drives fandom - content that people choose to watch, share, save, comment on, and talk about.

What you have:
• 2+ years' experience working within a content team - whether at an agency, content studio, or in-house for a brand
• A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking alongside hands-on execution across a variety of social formats
• Proven experience developing ideas from initial concept through final delivery
• Deep knowledge of social platforms, internet culture, creator ecosystems and evolving content trends
• Experience creating organic social content designed to drive engagement, participation and cultural relevance
• Strong skills in short-form video creation, including vertical video shooting, editing, and optimization for platform best practices
• Proficiency with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop and Premiere Pro) and comfort working with mobile-first editing platforms
• Photography and photo editing experience, with an eye for composition, storytelling, and capturing authentic moments
• Strong writing skills, including the ability to write concepts, scripts, beat sheets, creative rationales, and presentation materials
• Experience participating in or leading brainstorms and developing creative ideas in a collaborative environment
• Ability to think strategically and understand how creative work ladders up to broader marketing and business objectives
• Experience presenting work directly to clients and communicating ideas clearly and persuasively
• Comfort receiving, interpreting, and implementing feedback while maintaining creative integrity
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed to get great work made
• A genuine passion for creating social content and an ongoing curiosity about what's happening in culture
• Experience working on large, high-profile brands is a plus
• Experience developing creator-led, earned-first, or integrated social campaigns is a plus
• Any additional creative pursuits - filmmaking, music, illustration, fashion, photography, gaming, LEGO building, or something entirely unexpected - are always welcome!
