ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly qualified COMSEC Technical Management Specialist to provide comprehensive technical support for Communications Security (COMSEC) operations in support of US-ROK (Republic of Korea) interoperability requirements within the USPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). This position plays a critical role in managing cryptographic equipment, key management infrastructure, and maintaining compliance with national security policies.
Responsibilities: - The tasks include maintaining accountability and control of COMSEC or Cryptographic Controlled Items (CCI) to include, but not limited to:
- Experience in the processing of received material, hand receipting of material, and destroying superseded material utilizing Destruction Certificates (5941 EK), Key Variable Management (KVM) worksheets, and LMD/KP, KMI-MGC and/or other devices such as AN/CYZ-10 (DTD), KIK- 20 (SDS), and AN/PYQ-10 (SKL).
QualificationsRequirements:- BS Degree or an additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years of experience in COMSEC operations, key management, or cryptographic equipment management
- COMSEC Account Manager Course (CAMC) completion or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Key Management Infrastructure Management Client (KMI MGC) completion or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Active Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship required
Target Salary Range$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
