Responsibilities & QualificationsRESPONSIBILITIES- Perform COMSEC changeover, equipment check, pick-up, issue, and destruction.
- Manage Type-1 bulk encryption and comply with COMSEC handling procedures.
- Store, handle, operate, and destroy key materials according to established protocols.
- Ensure compliance with DoDI 5220, NISPOM, and local SOPs for COMSEC handling.
- Maintain physical possession and continuous attendance of COMSEC material.
- Safeguard and transport classified information and material as required.
- Maintain two-person COMSEC integrity when handling equipment and devices.
- Ensure proper identification and destruction of scheduled KEYMAT canisters.
- Conduct inventory of all KEYMAT prior to storage container re-locking.
- Notify designated government personnel of any discrepancies or security violations.

- Clearance: Must possess Top Secret/SCI clearance
