This position requires current Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Computer Systems Security Associate Leader to oversee all COMSEC activities for a geographic/functional region in support of critical program needs. This role ensures the protection of classified information in support of National Security programs as well as enables reliable and trusted communications over commercial networks.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct all COMSEC activities for a geographic/functional region, coordinating with local command structures and executing approved COMSEC plans while adapting to local operational constraints.
- Provide daily guidance to COMSEC Account Managers and Alternates, create personnel assignments, and verify completion of required training and documentation.
- Conduct and oversee spot-checks/inspections to ensure proper material handling, safe-combination security, and full compliance with all applicable NSA and customer requirements.
• Maintain 100% accountability of all COMSEC/Cryptographic material and required account documentation IAW with COR and customer-driven COMSEC requirements
• Provide COMSEC support specific to program needs
• Analyze/review COMSEC Encryption device audits for user compliance and document results.
• Enter and extract data from COMSEC accounting databases for incoming and outgoing transactions for both physical and electronic COMSEC/Crypto material
• Download Key via iApp and vIPer connection.
• Be familiar with Simple Key Loaders (SKL), loading of key into various types of end equipment, deleting superseded key, download new key and preform audits as required
• Perform wrapping and marking of outgoing packages per NCSM and Customer policy
• Perform destruction of key material and documents in authorized COMSEC channels
• Perform receipt, transfer, safeguarding, user training, and destruction activities
• Order keying material, receive, in-process, and issue key material
• IAW NCSM and Customer policies conduct semi-annual inventories of accountable COMSEC/ Cryptographic Material and audit account documentation
• Use and maintain common fill devices (SKL's)
• Configuration, loading, and maintenance of CCI equipment (vIPer, Taclanes, KIV-7MS, Flight and Ground Space COMSEC units)
• Familiar with or be trained to work in clean room environments to preform COMSEC duties as needed.
• Provide tailored COMSEC support to meet program needs, analyze and document encryption-device audit results for user compliance, and conduct user training, briefings, acknowledgment forms, and turnover debriefings.
Basic Qualifications
• Current Top Secret security clearance prior to start with ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II certification.
• Completed customer COMSEC course.
• Familiar with the application of the National Security Agency (NSA) 3-16 COMSEC directives, CNSSI manuals 4001, 4003, 4004.1, 4005, AFMAN 17-1302, OSD's, and NISPOM.
• 5+ years of COMSEC experience.
• Prior leadership experience.
Desired skills
-Familiarity with one or more service/agency COMSEC programs
-Ability to apply knowledge of government security requirements in a complex multi-level secure environment to ensure program compliance in non-routine situations
-Knowledge of cleared contractor operations: computer, physical, technical and personnel security requirements
-Highly proficient in written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on clear and cogent presentation of complex information to a variety of diverse audiences
-Knowledge and experience managing classified programs
-Demonstrated success in well-reasoned decision making and reasoning in applying solutions to problems.
-Work independently to identify, assess & resolve unique security situations with innovative solutions geared to facilitate contract performance within the bounds of security requirements
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $114,700 - $198,720. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
