S3, Inc is seeking a Computing Environment Manager to support the Mission Command Requirements Division (MCRD) of the Maneuver Future Capability Directorate (MFCD) at Fort Benning, GA.

Description:

The Computing Environment Manager performs capability development activities supporting the Mounted Computing Environment (MCE) and the Mobile / Handheld Computing Environment of the Army's Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) framework.

The Manager performs capability gap and DOTMLPF-P analysis; develops, writes, assembles, and staffs capability requirements documents and Information System Initial Capabilities Documents; performs CBA and Materiel Solutions Analysis; coordinates with PEO Command, Control, Communications and Network (PEO C3N, formerly PEO C3T), PM Mission Command, and PM Tactical Network; and develops COIC and D&OP for operational test events including Network Modernization Experiments and Capstone live prototype demonstrations.

Responsibilities:
• Works with mounted mission command computing systems such as the Mounted Family of Computer Systems (MFoCS), Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P), and the Joint Tactical Common Operating Picture Workstation (JTCW.
• Works with handheld mission command systems such as Nett Warrior, Android Tactical Assault Kit / Team Awareness Kit (ATAK), End User Devices (EUDs) including the Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS), and the Integrated Tactical Network (ITN).
• Working knowledge of tactical network transport (LEO / MEO SATCOM, TSM Waveform, MUOS, and the HMS Manpack and Leader radios), cybersecurity considerations including Authority to Operate (ATO) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and software-defined capabilities developed through the Software Acquisition Pathway and Agile / DevSecOps practices.
• Working knowledge of the U.S. Army, its organizational structures with emphasis on Brigade Combat Teams and division-level mission command formations, and a basic understanding of Army doctrine and operational concepts. Position reports to the Task Order Team Lead.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree, or eight (8) years of Army Mission Command, Signal, or relevant staff experience in lieu of a degree.
• Graduate of the following DAU courses, or ability to complete within 10 days of hire: RQM 1010, Introduction to JCIDS (formerly CLR 101); ACQ 1010, Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management (formerly ACQ 101); RQM 1101, Core Concepts for Requirements Management (formerly RQM 110 / RQM 1100); and TST 102, Fundamentals of Test and Evaluation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other operational software.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Graduate of the Army Capabilities Development Course (CDC). Desired.
• Familiarity with the DAU Software Acquisition Pathway curriculum (e.g., ACQ 1700, Acquisition of Software, and the SWA series). Desired.
• Prior assignment in an S6 / G6 staff role, a PM or PEO office, or the Network Cross-Functional Team (Network CFT). Desired.
